What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Corporate 340B Program position at McLaren Health Care?
Position Summary:
Oversees aspects of the MHC 340B program including compliance, program expansion, and drug purchasing optimization. Provides operational accountability, management, and process development of the 340B program to ensure optimal operational performance in compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial standards. Performs ongoing analysis and audits of the program and data validation. Manages drug manufacturing accounts and ensure proper inventory flow related to the program. Manages staff related to the program and coordinate operational efforts from supporting departments.
- Analyzes contract pharmacy revenue and expenses to provide recommendations for optimization of program.
- Evaluates new contract pharmacy relationships for program expansion.
- Ensures contract pharmacy audit completion in relation to program compliance.
- Participates in projects, councils, and special initiatives related to 340B, compliance, auditing functions, vendor selection, and medication management.
- Conducts 340B Program training for staff and continues to modify training materials on an as-needed basis depending on changes to the program at the federal, state, and/or local levels.
- Provides training and technical assistance to health system sites and contract pharmacies.
- Assists in on-boarding of price verification program and continuation quality assurance maintenance.
- Oversees and assist with capturing 340B direct purchases.
Qualifications:
Required:
· Bachelors degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
· Registered Pharmacist with Michigan Board of Pharmacy
· Three years progressive pharmacy experience
· Two years previous 340B program experience
· Two years of management experience
· Apexus Certified Expert (ACE) certification
