About the Role
We are searching for a highly motivated Associate Principal Scientist to contribute to our Device Product and Process Development team at MSD. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for technical interrogation of various drug delivery device technology platforms to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis of device materials and functional properties using advanced analytical instruments and methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative drug delivery devices
- Utilize expertise in structural finite element analysis (FEA) to optimize device design and performance
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in device design and engineering evaluation
- Strong background in mechanical testing, imaging, and measurement equipment and techniques
- Familiarity with ISO standards and regulations
