Qualifications
- High school/HISET required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Direct experience working in the field of Social Services, Sales, and/or Business Development is required.
- Excellent Computer skills, ability to learn new programs, and experience utilizing confidential informational databases required.
- Strong Interpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Valid driver's license and car insurance is required.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Engage employers to determine local and regional hiring needs, soliciting and managing job postings in the MoJobs system.
- Promote and develop work-based learning with employers for adults, dislocated workers, and youth, with a focus on on-the-job training, Incumbent Worker Training, and work experience opportunities.
- Utilize real time labor data to guide job seekers into training and pathways for employment.
- Support the development and implementation of recruitment events.
- Support Job Development activities, aligned with employer input, that prepare participants to secure and maintain employment.
- Collaborate among job centers, education, labor and nonprofits to deliver the best services possible and to expand services to address the needs of both job seekers and employers.
- Conduct intake interviews with potential participants, establishing eligibility, completing assessment, and creating individualized plans. .
- Meet performance outcomes in enrollments, graduation rate, employment, average wage, and retention details.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of required outcome reporting system as required by project or grant.
- Maintain participant files with all required agency and funding source paperwork and complete all documentation in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality according to agency guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
