Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Management Analyst to join our team in a client-facing role. As a member of our Department of Defense financial management team, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing financial processes, leveraging your expertise in SAP-FM, Qlik, Oracle, and Power BI..
Responsibilities
-Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their financial management needs, generate product roadmaps, and provide tailored solutions to address their requirements.
-Work with development team to translate requirements into usable products using financial data, identify trends, and create visually compelling reports and dashboards
-Assist in the implementation and maintenance of dashboards/analytics, providing leadership and direction to developers and guidance and support to end-users.
-Assist in developing approaches, creating, and presenting PowerPoint presentations and facilitating meetings
-Conduct analyses of current applications in relation to user needs and identify potential areas for improvement. Provide ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
-Plan, develop and implement an effective Change Management strategy to support user adoption of analytic tools and ensure community requirements are appropriately prioritized with development teams
-Develop training material and conduct end-user training to support user adoption of analytic tools
-Aligning goals, objectives, and strategic initiatives across analytical products and portfolios
Qualifications
-Secret clearance is required
-Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in DoD Financial Management, within DoD Headquarters or DoD Components
-Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data accurately
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders
-Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results
-Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
-Flexibility to work at least 1 day per week onsite (Pentagon & McLean, VA)
Nice to Have
-Knowledge of Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI is a significant plus
-CSM, PMP, or other project management certification preferred
-Recent DoD experience, especially in Financial Management
-Experience working in an AWS environment
-Previous experience with Advana is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
