Responsibilities Will Include:
Responsible for maintaining appropriate level of customer service for residents, staff, and public. Ensure that communication of information, both internal and external, is maintained at an adequate level.
Job specific duties and responsibilities may vary, but typically include those listed below:
- Answer all incoming phone calls and assist with local and long-distance calls for residents.
- Answer general information questions from the residents, staff and public.
- Maintain a current directory of the Home, Nursing, MVE and staff.
- Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail for residents and staff. Maintain mail machine.
- Provide information to the Adoptive Chapters, Lodges, Bethels, Rainbow Girls and Grand Master. This would include birthdays, anniversaries and when resident passes away.
- Order flowers for hospitalized residents
- Order bereavement flowers for residents' family members who have passed away.
- Receive notification and send letter and sympathy card to family member when a resident passes away.
- Reserve Hospitality rooms
- Maintain newspapers for Residents and sunrooms.
- Maintain the front lobby, including refreshing the coffee.
- Type and update Morning Report.
- Sign residents out and back in when they are leaving campus.
- Distribute information/application packets for Admissions Department.
- Prepare weekly schedule of events with PowerPoint.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
