We are seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a consistent family-like structure for our students and handling responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, and reporting.
Job Description:
As a flex houseparent, you will reside in an on-campus student home with your spouse and guide a group of approximately 8-12 students. You will provide daily care, support, and guidance, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
You will be responsible for managing the household, preparing meals, and maintaining a clean and organized living space. You will also be required to transport students to and from activities, administer medications as needed, and maintain accurate records.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings
- This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses should be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Couples must be comfortable leading students in daily devotions and take students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity
