The City of Mankato is now hiring for City Engineer
Under general direction of the Director of Public Works, the City Engineer plans, directs, and evaluates all activities of the City's engineering program; Supervises the divisional team; Oversees the coordination, preparation, and execution, and completion of short- and long-range capital improvement plans, programs, budgets for streets; water, wastewater, and storm water distribution, collection, and storage systems; and assigned facilities. Oversees the Engineering Division review of residential subdivision and commercial project plans and construction drawings during the subdivision platting and/or building permit review processes to ensure compliance with local, state, federal rules, standards, codes, and laws while also screening for traffic, parking, drainage, and right-of-way conflicts and issues.
