This position is required to live on campus in a residence hall and is furnished a 2-bedroom apartment at no additional cost.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $52,223 annually.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.

Job Description
- Supervises, trains, and evaluates 6-14 student staff members
- Supports the residential curriculum by participating in the development and execution of educational plans to advance the department's learning goals
- Implements strategies for contributing to student retention through academic and personal support programs and direct outreach to students identified as experiencing unique academic, personal, or mental health challenges
- Serves as an integral liaison and partner to the campus Care Coordination Team.
- Meets with students experiencing concerns or who have been identified as at-risk in order to provide appropriate intervention, guidance, and support
- Coordinates with Associate Director any special living units of the halls including Living Learning Communities or special interest floors
- Maintains communication with maintenance and custodial partners
- Advises Hall Government, provides training and resources to support student leadership development and student-initiated programs and activities
- Manages desk operations for area desk
- Participates in after-hours crisis response and assigned on-call duty rotation for all campus housing areas
- Reviews incident reports documenting low-level behavioral matters to determine appropriate resolutions; makes referrals or takes appropriate action
- Assists with summer projects including camps and conferences, training preparation, summer school, etc.
