Technical Customer Service Specialist
MIT(Morgan Industrial Technology) is the industry leader in orbital welding equipment sales, rental, service, and training. We are searching for a qualified candidate that has the ability, desire and commitment to collaborate with sales to ensure our customers’ satisfaction. The primary focus is on customer requests for information, quoting, technical solutions, and order management. The ability to understand and communicate the functions of the equipment is critical.
Primary responsibilities include:
- High mechanical aptitude to understand products and make appropriate recommendations per application
- Process and manage customer quotes and orders
- Regular and consistent communication via phone and email throughout the sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction
- Relationship management with internal/external customers
This position requires mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and a high level of business acumen. The ability to communicate and develop relationships with customers is important. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and be a team player.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or technical role is required
Education/Training
- High school diploma/GED
- College credits; preferred
- Bachelor of Science; preferred
- Technical (mechanical) emphasis, preferred
Experience
- Quickbooks or ERP software
- 2 plus years in customer service field
- Order entry experience

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
