About the LEAP Program:
The LEAP Program (Learning, Enrichment, Achievement, and Progress) serves youth with complex needs, including those with lower IQs, autism, and other developmental or behavioral challenges. Our program emphasizes home, healing, and hope through high-touch, individualized support in a residential setting.
Position Summary:
The Youth Development Program Director will lead all aspects of the program, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance. You will oversee staffing, training, program development, and care coordination for youth residents, while working collaboratively with our Wellness Clinic, Residential Services, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive LEAP program plan
- Oversee daily operations in alignment with state and CARF standards
- Supervise Youth Mentor Specialists, Activity Specialist, and the Workforce Specialist
- Serve as a contact for DFCS caseworkers and coordinate resident admissions
- Collaborate with the HSP team to develop and track resident goals and outcomes
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with all reporting requirements
- Actively participate in the Residential Leadership Team and Training Team
- Provide on-call support on a rotating schedule
