In this role, you will play a vital part in processing customer invoices, ensuring timely payments, and supporting essential accounting operations. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Generate daily invoices and monthly statements
- Manage customer invoices within customer portals, ensuring timely submission, tracking status, and addressing any issues as they arise
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted, support month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or customer payment issues
- Follow up with customers regarding both upcoming and past-due payments
- Process incoming payments
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions
- Provide administrative support: filing, providing backup phone coverage, and responding to emails in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and provide reporting as needed.
- Support other accounting and finance functions as needed
- Participate in training and preparation for the upcoming implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role.
- Team-Oriented Mindset: Strong desire to succeed as part of a team, contribute to a positive company culture, and embrace the Morrison "Support Built In" philosophy.
- Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify problems, analyze information, and collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective solutions.
