Motorcycles of Manchester (MOMS) is seeking a motivated General Manager for our Middlesex, MA location! MOMS is a family owned and operated business opening its first location in Manchester, NH selling pre-owned motorcycles. With an industry leading customer service process, we were afforded the opportunity to broaden our market by opening locations in Foxboro and Boston, MA as well as Northern NH; all while acquiring several premium OEM brands. In the last few years MOMS has grown tremendously by adding five locations throughout the New England region, increasing our footprint to 12 locations! Job Summary:

The General Manager will focus on maintaining the dealership’s profitability and day- to-day operations. They are responsible for all dealership departments, which include Sales, Service, Parts, and Finance. To be successful in this role, the General Manager will offer hands-on support to the dealership to reach and maintain all dealership goals as defined by ownership. As with all positions within the dealership, the General Manager will represent the dealership professionally, courteously, and personably in all situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the dealership including staff management, customer and employee issues as needed.
  • Provide direction to the team regarding duties and goals. Conduct regular meetings to review expectations and goals. Maintain a positive team atmosphere.
  • Ensure departments maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives.
  • Review both revenue and expenses monthly for accuracy and opportunities. Ensure monthly reports and required tracking items are completed and submitted as required.
  • Hold department managers accountable for established monthly and annual goals.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with product vendors, lending institutions and other dealership contacts.
  • In collaboration with COO, make recommendations/changes to the operating plan and related budgets.
  • Institute and maintain the highest level of positive customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Coach, Mentor, and Train management team. Conduct performance reviews regularly.
  • Manage interviewing, hiring, and terminations in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Follow up on any additional information requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management as required.
  • Complete seasonal projects, as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 5-7 years of dealership management experience
  • Knowledge and experience in Powersports Sales
  • Valid Driver’s License (motorcycle endorsement preferred)

Compensation:

  • Salary plus commission with earning potential of $85,000 to $125,000 annually
