Team Lead - DDA and DVR Service
Reports To:
Senior Officer
Job Summary:
The Team Lead - DDA and DVR Services is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the DDA and DVR programs, providing leadership and support to a team of Skill Coaches, and maintaining a personal caseload. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working with people with disabilities and familiarity with DDA and DVR services. This role requires strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to ensure high-quality service delivery, documentation compliance, and program success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Support
- Lead and support a team of Skill Coaches to deliver high-quality services to clients.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
- Monitor team schedules to ensure client needs are met efficiently.
- Organize and facilitate team meetings to maintain clear communication and address challenges.
2. Case Management
- Manage a personal caseload of clients receiving DDA and DVR services.
- Collaborate with clients, families, and counselors to develop and implement Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) or DVR Employment Plans.
- Assist clients in achieving goals related to employment, independence, and personal development.
3. Program Coordination
- Ensure program goals align with client needs and organizational priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with DVR counselors, DDA representatives, and other stakeholders.
- Oversee the coordination of services to ensure compliance with program standards and timelines.
4. Quality Assurance and Documentation
- Conduct regular reviews of client records, case notes, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support Skill Coaches in maintaining proper documentation and meeting reporting deadlines.
- Assist with audits and prepare necessary reports for organizational and program evaluations.
5. Problem-Solving and Program Maintenance
- Address challenges related to service delivery, team performance, or client progress.
- Identify opportunities for program improvement and implement solutions to enhance effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience working with people with disabilities, specifically in DDA and DVR services.
- Proven ability to manage caseloads, coordinate services, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of DDA services, DVR programs, and person-centered planning.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, self-manage, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
Requirements:
Education and Experience (any of the following options):
Has at least two years of experience related to the employment services the agency provides or is planning to provide to DDA clients;
OR
Has an Employment Professional Certificate from Highline Community College and one year of experience related to the employment services the agency provides or is planning to provide to DDA clients;
OR
Has completed the Wise Online Academy (WOA) 200 and one year of experience related to the employment services the agency provides or is planning to provide to DDA clients;
OR
Is a Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) from the Employment Support Professional Certification Council (ESPCC) and has at least one year of experience related to the employment services the agency provides or is planning to provide to DDA clients.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation for work-related travel.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
