Social Media Project Manager

Role Summary
MTP, Inc. is seeking a Social Media Project Manager to join our world-class social team, operating like an internal promotional agency. This individual will lead advertising and branding efforts while creating consistent, impactful social campaigns that educate, inspire, and engage across platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Organic Social Media Management & Campaigns
- Spearhead organic social media strategies.
- Assist in executing key tentpole campaigns with the Program Manager.
- Deliver creative campaigns that drive social growth, enhance sentiment, and leverage online communities using data-driven insights.
- Set competitive growth goals and benchmarks.
- Attend events and produce live social media content when needed.
Agency Partnership
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external agencies.
- Ensure timely delivery of work from agencies and escalate issues to the Social Marketing Manager as needed.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to align strategies and ensure collaboration.
Collaboration & Communication
- Lead weekly meetings with agency partners, internal teams, and event stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates, address challenges, and ensure seamless on-site social media execution.
- Manage timelines and proactively communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Coordinate feedback and approvals with internal teams, speakers, and sponsors.
- Align efforts across departments to achieve shared KPIs.
Process Optimization
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
- Establish best practices for social media project management and maintain organized documentation.
- Track and analyze performance trends to provide actionable insights.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of social media and marketing trends.
- High creativity for developing engaging, memorable content.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Experience with social listening, content distribution, and analytics tools.
- Ability to manage multi-platform content distribution strategies.

- Expertise in event marketing, including pop-ups and community events.
- SEO and technical writing skills for optimized content and concise editing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-5 years managing brand-owned social media channels.
- 3-5 years coordinating social media activities for businesses, brands, or individuals.
- Experience with user-generated content and social media events.
- Creative agency experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to optimize strategies to drive engagement and audience acquisition.
