About The Role

The primary responsibilities include acquiring and managing official state government publishing contracts and acquiring content for LexisNexis products. The role serves as a single point of contact to Lexis for our state partners, acting as a liaison between Editorial, Manufacturing, and states.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and driving new business of assigned products and services across all 50 states
  • Creating and executing strategic plans to drive incremental revenue streams through government and association partnerships
  • Leading identification of partners and executing all transaction elements
  • Supporting producing, marketing, and sales organization by forming marketing alliances that drive leads to sales
  • Driving publishing alliances to maximize revenue potential
  • Identifying appropriate contacts and decision makers within a prospect
  • Developing and delivering effective sales presentations to key decision makers within a prospect
  • Monitoring business development financial performance and modify strategy to drive required growth and revenue

Requirements

  • Be able to effectively establish and maintain professional relationships with diverse range of customers
  • Be able to anticipate potential objections and influence others to adopt a different point of view
  • Be a natural, innovative problem solver, able to lead and collaborate with your team to resolve issues
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering to and over achieving on revenue targets
  • Have a Bachelor's degree, Juris Doctor Degreed preferred
