Summary
As a Management and Program Analyst with the Science Mission Directorate (SMD), you will support annual contract and task order activities with SMD management, the Office of Procurement, Resource Management Division (RMD), and the Office of General Counsel (OCG) to ensure compliance.

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. To qualify for GS-13, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level: Reviewing or supporting contract performance (ie technical, cost, schedule and management) and/or performance metrics to initiate corrective actions; Reviewing contract management tasks such as task order formulation, implementation, contract/task order technical and schedule management, and configuration management; Assisting with task order cost accruals, cost reporting, or budget formulation. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Managing contract management tasks such as task formulation, implementation, contract/task order technical and schedule management, configuration management, project controls, financial management, and IT systems management; Assisting budget analysts with collecting and assessing data, conducting studies and/or trend analyses, performing strategic assessments, and reporting on analytical findings to recommend solutions to improve operations; Managing, maintaining, or overseeing contracts and/or monitoring contractor performance.
