The marketing manager is responsible for overseeing the marketing department, planning, developing, and implementing the marketing branding and strategy that target the existing and new markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the marketing department including graphic design and web development
- Develop and implement marketing and branding strategies
- Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail
- Ensure effective control of marketing results
- Oversee and evaluate market research and adjust marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
- Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities
- Guide preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
- Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events
- Write company’s newsletters, advertising, articles, and other related material
- Prepare and coordinate trade shows, booth design, layout

Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, or business administration; but will consider a combination of experience and education in lieu of degree
- Excellent verbal, written and executive level presentation skills
- Experience with writing copy materials

- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Physical Requirements
- Must have the ability to sit at a desk using a computer for 8 or more hours per day; stand, kneel, walk and bend as required throughout the work day to accomplish various tasks.
- Be able to lift, pull, push or carry various types of light weight files (approximately 1-10 pounds) and process accordingly.
