WJ Weiser & Associates is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Industry Relations department. Must be self-driven, and results-oriented with a positive outlook. We are looking for someone motivated by goals, enjoys interacting with customers, and is looking to grow with a great company.
The preferred candidate for this position will be local to our Schaumburg, IL office, working a hybrid schedule, however, we will consider qualified remote candidates.
Responsibilities

- Marketing for exhibits, sponsorships & corporate memberships to existing & potential vendors.
- Identify & request corporate support from potential sponsors to fund association client meetings, programs & activities.
- Provides customer support through consistent use of standard work processes & best-known methods.
- Demonstrates skill, expertise, & capability in the use of standardized work processes to resolve customer issues.
- Identifies & communicates opportunities for improvement.
- Actively seeks, documents, & communicates better-known methods that would improve productivity & enhance customer relationships.
- Additional responsibilities including recording, tracking leads & payments, & general administration.
Qualifications
-
- Bachelors in communication or marketing or related area.
- 1 years of related experience in marketing and/or sales or other related positions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent interpersonal & presentation skills.
- Competent skills in e-communications & in using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to Travel (10%).
