Key responsibilities for the Machinery Recruiter include but are not limited to:
- Develop in depth understanding of required skills for each region in the Harnish Group Inc. territory.
- Use selection criteria aligned with the business units to identify and determine qualified candidates at all skill levels.
- Develop relationships with all the technical schools, colleges, and trade schools in our territories.
- Initiate recruitment processes to identify and implement new methods for sourcing machinery technicians and other candidates.
- Project manage all phases of the recruiting process through close collaboration with Business Units and Human Resources.
- Act as an advocate for both the company and the candidate throughout the hiring process, establishing regular touch points and providing diligent follow through as determined.
Personal Attributes, Experience, and Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience gained through positions serving operational, rental, and service maintenance employees. Bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent in work experience.
- Demonstrated functional knowledge of recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) at all levels of the organization.
- Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft products.
- Planned travel (Washington State and other locations) to meet hiring managers and to understand operations will be required.
