Next Level Fitness in Haymarket, Virginia, a growing fitness and training facility is seeking an energetic, organized health and fitness enthusiast to work full time in an entry level management position. The assistant manager works under the direct supervision of the general manager and is responsible for leading evening and Saturday sales/operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform and oversee the overall operation of the facility in the evening and weekends
  • Direct front desk sales team to ensure policies and procedures are followed Perform front desk duties; schedule appointments and meetings, maintain class attendance, manage phone system and process retail sales
  • Design and implement front desk procedures and filing systems to improve operational efficiency
  • Follow established sales process to sell membership, programs and training packages
  • Assign and monitor administrative responsibilities among front desk staff to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
  • Manage client account balances, payments and create invoices
  • Order supplies and maintain retail stock
  • Professionally handle client inquiries within business communication Independently and creatively resolve issues and set priorities
  • Lead team in closing process; cash drawers and bank deposit
  • Ensure a clean and organized and professional atmosphere
  • Prepare smoothies according to recipes
  • Ensure facility cleanliness
  • Record charitable donations
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • QUALIFICATIONS
  • Basic knowledge fitness businesses
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally
  • Demonstrate a dynamic personality, be enthusiastic and maintain a positive attitude
  • Experience handling customer service issues
  • Must be able to remain flexible in order to adapt to changing work environments
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks
  • Exhibit a professional and polite appearance and demeanor
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Communicate clearly and concisely
  • Must be organized and be able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Mindbody scheduling software knowledge a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.79 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 25 per week

Shift:

  • Evening shift
  • Morning shift

Ability to Relocate:

  • Haymarket, VA 20169: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $16 - $25
