Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced LabVantage Administrator to support, configure, and manage the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for our client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the LabVantage LIMS platform to support laboratory operations, ensuring data integrity, system stability, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the installation, configuration, and administration of the LabVantage LIMS platform.
Provide technical support for end-users, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements as needed.
Collaborate with laboratory personnel to ensure the LIMS meets operational requirements.
Develop and customize workflows, reports, and dashboards within the LabVantage platform.
Oversee system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure data integrity and security within the LIMS environment and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, GxP).
Create and maintain system documentation, including user guides, SOPs, and technical manuals.
Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, QA, and lab staff, to align the LIMS functionality with business processes.
Manage user roles, permissions, and access control for system security.
Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and optimize system usage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
5 years of experience as a LabVantage Administrator or similar role in managing LIMS platforms.
Strong understanding of LabVantage configuration, customization, and integration capabilities.
Proficient in database management (e.g., SQL) and scripting for LIMS workflows.
Familiarity with laboratory workflows and operations in a regulated environment.
Experience with data migration, system validation, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.
