We are hiring a SQL Server DBA to manage and support SQL databases in production and non-production environments. This role includes database administration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with DevOps and application teams.
Responsibilities:
Manage SQL Server databases, including backups, recovery, and capacity monitoring.
Write and manage scripts using T-SQL, PowerShell, or batch scripting.
Support DevOps pipelines and cloud database initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, availability, and connectivity.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
Proficiency with SQL Server (2016 2022).
Experience with DevOps tools, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and other RDBMS (Postgres, Redis, Mongo).
Knowledge of HA/failover technologies and SQL Server on VMs.
Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
Preferred: Expertise in automation and operational practices.
