Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and in good working order.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order entry, payment processing, and inventory management.
- Upsell drinks and menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and menu offerings to provide informed suggestions to guests.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to sanitize work areas effectively to maintain health standards.
- Experience in food service with a focus on fine dining environments is preferred.
- Proficient in basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage customers effectively.
