Responsibilities
- Wastewater Management : Oversee and manage the wastewater treatment processes specific to the beverage industry in the New Hampshire facility. Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and implement best practices to minimize environmental impact.
- Regulatory Compliance : Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to the beverage industry in New Hampshire. Ensure all operations are in full compliance with these regulations and adapt company policies as needed.
- Risk Assessment : Conduct thorough risk assessments across all factory operations to identify potential hazards, particularly those related to wastewater discharge and other environmental impacts. Implement effective control measures to mitigate risks.
- Policy Development : Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive EHS policies and procedures tailored to the unique needs of the beverage manufacturing process in New Hampshire.
- Training and Education : Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees, focusing on wastewater management, environmental compliance, and general safety practices. Ensure all employees are trained on relevant EHS topics and are equipped to handle emergencies.
- Incident Management : Investigate any accidents, incidents, or near-misses that occur in the New Hampshire facility. Determine root causes, implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and maintain detailed records of incidents and investigations.
- Auditing and Monitoring : Regularly conduct EHS audits and inspections of the New Hampshire facility to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Identify areas for improvement and work with departments to implement corrective measures.
- Permit Management : Obtain and maintain all necessary EHS permits and licenses required for the beverage factory's operations in New Hampshire. Ensure timely renewal and submission of required documentation to regulatory agencies.
- Stakeholder Coordination : Collaborate with local regulatory agencies, government authorities, and external stakeholders in New Hampshire to address EHS concerns, participate in inspections, and maintain positive relationships.
- Budget Management : Develop and manage the EHS budget for the New Hampshire facility, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for training, equipment, and other EHS initiatives. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high safety standards.
- Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in and lead EHS improvement projects in New Hampshire to enhance overall performance, reduce risks, and promote a culture of safety excellence.
