Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and organized Veterinary Receptionist to join our exceptional team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for pet owners and their beloved animals, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while providing essential administrative support. This role requires a blend of customer service skills and knowledge of animal care to facilitate smooth operations within the veterinary practice.
Duties
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting environment.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including current owner information.
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries with attention to detail.
- Assist veterinary staff with patient intake, including gathering relevant information about the animal's health.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Having a baseline knowledge of animal health care is a plus, but not required. We are happy to train the right individual!
