What are the responsibilities and job description for the Central Scheduler - Acute Care Services position at North Central Health Care?
The Opportunity:
The Central Scheduler position creates and maintains the work schedules for all 24-hour positions within Acute Care Services. This includes residential treatment, crisis stabilization facilities, inpatient hospitals, and crisis services schedules for behavioral health and Crisis professionals and nurses. The position reports to the Director of Acute Care Services.
Pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.60 per hour based on experience.

What You’ll Do:
- Works closely and effectively with the Acute Care Leadership on all items related to staffing including scheduling issues/challenges
- Completes/maintains/posts schedules for all Acute Care programs for 24-hour staffing
- Coordinates schedules to reflect time off and picked up shifts according to procedure
- Schedules training and permanent shifts for new hires into the scheduling software
- Adjusts templates based on scheduling changes
- Uses a variety of methods to fill vacancies due to call ins and leave
- Adjusts staff schedules and updates scheduling software to fill vacancies based on program need per management direction
- Assists with and understands various computer systems such as our Scheduling System and Microsoft
- Adheres to scheduled work hours with regular and predictable attendance.
- Assists with the onboarding process
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three years of relevant experience.
- Person Centered Service to every interaction.
- Familiarity with scheduling software.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
What You’ll Get:
- Pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.60 per hour based on experience.
- This position is a full time, on site, day shift role Monday through Friday.
