What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production and Facilities Maintenance Technician position at North Star Cold Storage?
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment including, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic. Review work order priorities daily and ensure that they are serviced each day. Assist in short- and long-term maintenance projects. Maintain cleanliness of maintenance equipment area. Maintain appropriate inventory of maintenance supplies. Responsible for general safety and security of facility and equipment. Must be a self-starter and organized, with a positive attitude, and able to work independently and as a team. Ability to trouble shoot and repair facility and industrial food equipment, i.e. pumps, conveyors and automated machinery. Maintain records for preventive maintenance and repair history.
Minimum 2 years of production or facilities maintenance equipment experience preferred. Ability to understand blueprints, diagrams and ladder logic programs. Proficient in using power, shop and diagnostic tools. Skilled in electrical power/control, mechanical and fluid handling systems. Forklift experience preferred. Flexibility to work some weekends and overtime.
Salary : $24 - $28
