Description
Position Summary: Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual that assists in maintaining day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, and accuracy are important qualifications for this position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Scan daily deposit utilizing remote deposit capture scanner provided by the bank.
- Record cash receipts
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card statements.
- Import and print daily/weekly/monthly claims and cancellations checks
- Run manual credit card transactions
- Confirm weekly ACH transactions and daily wire transactions
- Verify cleared status on checks
- Provide Accounting support to other departments
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management or staff as requested
Education and Work Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent necessary; college degree preferred
- At least one year of experience in bookkeeping (AR or AP) and/or banking (teller)
Knowledge and Skills:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.

- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills: Must have a working knowledge of Excel and Word, and must have comfort level with learning new software
- Typing and ten key experience, with high accuracy and speed
- Ability to multi-task, follow up, and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify discrepancies and take initiative to research variances and correct
Hours Required:
Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with occasional overtime as needed
