PT Nanny

A family living in Nyack, NY is looking for an experienced nanny to help care for their energetic, loving and fun 5.5 year old son. This would be a long term position, as the family would like for the ideal candidate to stay with them and evolve as their needs change as their son grows older.

Qualifications

• 7 years of recent experience as a professional nanny
• Recent experience with 4-7 year olds would be ideal
• Current or former Au Pairs need not apply
• Fluent in English
• The ability to speak Spanish would be a plus, but is not required
• Valid Passport, in order to travel internationally
• The family is seeking a nanny with applied knowledge of children’s milestones, who is collaborative, calm and can bring ideas forward.
• Their ideal nanny is someone who can work autonomously, is a problem-solver, solution oriented, independent thinker, proactive and team-oriented
• Positive energy is a must!
• CPR First Aid certified upon job start
• Valid driver's license, spotless driving record
• COVID, flu & all standard vaccinations
• Verifiable references

Benefits

• $25-$35/hr, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Please note that this is a part time position, with the schedule being Tuesday and Thursday 12:15pm to 7:15pm and Saturday 10am to 7pm
• Both parents work remotely, however, this position would be the sole caretaker during the hours they are working
• All childcare duties for the child including but not limited to: picking him up from school, packing lunch/snacks, ensuring he has his items needed for his structured activities, keeping his bedroom tidy, laundry, and cooking hearty and balanced main meals (entrees) for the child
• A safe, experienced driver is essential; the family will provide a car for use during working hours

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 23 per week
