Seeking a candidate to hit the ground running with little to no training on QuickBooks and payroll functions.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proficiency in QuickBooks, both online and desktop versions.
Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial data, including payroll processing.
Assist in tax preparation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable duties.
Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Support in preparing financial reports for analysis and decision-making.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial projects.
Conduct technical accounting research and analysis as needed.
Apply basic accounting concepts such as debits and credits.
Perform 10-key typing for accurate input of numerical data.
Process invoices and issue payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Collaborate effectively with team members to accomplish projects.
Meet deadlines for various financial tasks and projects.
Maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
Provide support to the account service team as needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to address client needs and inquiries.
Manage and place orders for office supplies as required.
Ensure timely delivery and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
Submit payroll taxes accurately and in a timely manner.
Manage workers' compensation processes and documentation.
Assist in handling insurance-related tasks to ensure compliance.
Skills:
Education beyond high school diploma required.
Three years of bookkeeping and payroll experience in a professional business setting.
Proficiency in QuickBooks online, including reconciliation, NSF transactions, AP/AR.
Take initiative, detail oriented and ability to multi-task is a must.
Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to conduct research and problem-solve.
Experience using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for various tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.86 - $25.12 per hour
