The Estimator is responsible for all deliverables regarding the procurement of construction projects, has mastered the management of deliverable documentation and is capable of processing new information and updating deliverables with minimal effort and maximum accuracy. The primary function of the LE is to manage all aspects of multiple deliverables simultaneously, lead their team, ensure clients are satisfied. The estimator has a complete understanding of the construction management process with a specific mastery of process and cost control. The estimator is proficient in all aspects of the Assistant Estimator position. The estimator mentors, trains, and delegates tasks to Assistant Estimators and Interns with strong leadership skills. The estimator must exude fair and honest business practices and ensure company policies and procedures are maintained. The estimator works in conjunction with the Preconstruction Manager to determine the best course of action regarding available pursuits. The Estimating Department will be supported by the Company’s Preconstruction Team, Marketing Department and Operations Staff.

What You’ll Do:
· Collaborate with the PCM to develop preliminary budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
· Review, recognize, and report the feasibility of opportunities and associated documentation for determining the risk/reward value of pursuing a given opportunity to the PCM.
· Conduct site reviews, participate in stakeholder meetings, and provide feedback to the PCM focusing on the logistics of the project, identifying stakeholders in attendance and their purpose, and discovery of unidentified challenges that will impact the project.
· Examine project documents with a high level of detail to accurately determine scopes of work, schedule, materials and labor estimates needed to provide a complete and competitive deliverable.
· Verify quantitative surveys and take-offs of bid documents for accuracy, constructability, and options for alternate solutions with detailed descriptions of approach.
· Refine scopes of work for trade specific bid packages and build-out complex CPM schedules.
