We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Specialist to join our Des Moines, IA, working alongside the Acmi Beverage Team, part of Omnia Technologies USA.
We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and optimization of our (ERP) systems and assist with after sales activities. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the ERP software that supports our business processes. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs, provide technical support, and implement solutions that improve efficiency and productivity. This role requires a strong understanding of ERP systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a background in IT or a related field, experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ERP system issues.
- Responsible for Customer Support experience through email and phone regarding aftersales inquiries, including spare parts and warranty claims.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect and ensure the quality of incoming parts are in line with customer expectations and meet Acmi Beverage standards. Ensure product accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and respond in a timely manner
- Support for Field Service: Providing necessary parts and materials for preventive maintenance and repair activities, facilitating minimal downtime and efficient operations. Support budget efforts from larger group and report any concerns as they arise
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ability to work onsite full time from our Des Moines, IA, office. Occasionally required to be available after regular business hours
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
