On My Own Independent Living Services is hiring an Independent Living Services Program Assistant!
An ILS Program Assistant will use their time to support the Program Manager with the day-to-day operations and long term goals of the ILS Programs.
ILS Program Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and oversee records of services rendered (service authorizations, referrals, progress notes, client reports, etc.)
- Coordinate and perform all tasks associated with new clients (scheduling, meet and greets, assessments, etc.)
- Provide support to ILS Facilitators to ensure client goals are being met.
- Assist Program Manager with non-supervisory duties as needed.
- Act as a liaison between On My Own Independent Living Services and external agencies.
- Prepare for, set up, and co-facilitate ILS Facilitator orientations and trainings.
- Perform duties of ILS Facilitator as needed.
What do you need to be an ILS Program Assistant?
- Valid California Drivers’ License with reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance.
- Two (2) years of experience in a similar position.
- Through education and/or experience, possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to implement all functions of the position.
- Proficient in the use of standard office equipment, computers and various software including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to respect the rights and dignity of all clients.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience working with the developmentally disabled population preferred.
This position has a fixed starting wage.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
