Position Summary
The position is responsible for managing a portfolio of Asset Plan Program projects in all phases of the project life cycle, including planning, scoping, design, procurement, and implementation. This position is expected to work closely with Right-Of-Way, Construction Management, Engineering, Planning, Districts, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain constructible plans across multiple seasons.
This is a hybrid position, with 3 office days minimum, based in our 777 Main St – Fort Worth location.

Key Responsibilities
- Build, control and manage end-to-end Transmission project schedules by collaborating with all applicable stakeholders
- Monitor the status of tasks and deliverables to ensure stakeholder issues are proactively identified, communicated and resolved
- Coordinate, prioritize and communicate schedule and scope changes
- Perform resource reviews across the assigned portfolio of projects
- Identify and appropriately elevate project risks while developing and implementing mitigation plans
- Monitor the project/program financial plan by collaborating with the Resource Engineer to ensure the scope and schedule match allocated resources
- Provide expertise in the development of Oncor’s Transmission PMO portfolio management and project control processes
- Represent the company to various external entities as required by project assignments
- Lead project teams and execute special projects as assigned
- Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements
Grade 12
- Education – High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction, Project Management, Science, or Business are encouraged to apply.
- Experience – Three years of experience in the design, operation and/or construction of Transmission facilities or electric utility experience, with at least one year of experience in a program/project management role is required.
- Education – High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction, Project Management, Science, or Business are encouraged to apply.
- Experience –Five years of experience in the design, operation and/or construction of Transmission facilities or electric utility experience, with at least two years of experience in a program/project management role is required.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing large projects/programs
- Ability to work in a team of cross-functional individuals
- Highly effective analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and adaptability along with excellent negotiating skills and ability to influence others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex issues in public and private forums
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to quickly learn various software platforms
- Understanding of financial drivers for Transmission projects and Transmission business unit
- Understanding of company policies
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines by multitasking and prioritizing work
