Construction Site Traffic Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Flagger to join our team on construction sites. The Flagger will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic around work zones. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in heavy equipment operation and a solid understanding of construction site protocols.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic around construction sites using appropriate hand signals and signage.
• Monitor and maintain safe work zones for both workers and the public.
• Collaborate with construction crews to ensure smooth operations while paving or performing utility locating tasks.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and the public regarding road conditions and detours.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Flagger or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferre
• Knowledge of utility locating practices is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: From $44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

Compensation Package:

• Hourly pay
• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
