Summary:
The Accounting, Housing, and Activities Coordinator is a versatile role that seamlessly combines accounting and employee services responsibilities. This position focuses on providing efficient office support, accurate accounting services, and proactive coordination of employee housing and activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain confidentiality in both accounting and employee services responsibilities.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and various departments for smooth operations.
- Track and promptly report company receivables and payables.
- Process invoices into Concur with accuracy and efficiency.
- Implement process improvements for cost savings and operational efficiency.
- Complete administrative projects accurately and on time.
- Collaborate with HR and management for effective room assignments.
- Own and update the Employee Housing Map for enhanced visibility.
- Ensure the cleanliness and optimal setup of company-provided rooms.
- Conduct meet-and-greet sessions for new hires, providing tours and assistance.
- Facilitate room inspections for departing employees and assist with housing deposit returns.
- Contribute to the creation of a monthly employee activities calendar.
Position Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment and perform with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills with proactive recommendation abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS systems.
- Excellent customer service and people skills.
- Extremely organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Positive team player with a "can-do" attitude.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Accounting experience: 1-2 years.
- Customer service or employee relations experience: Minimum of 2 years (resort or national park experience preferred).
