The Purpose:
The Czarnowski team in Farmington Hills, Michigan is seeking an ambitious, dynamic individual who is a critical component working with multiple internal stakeholders to insure accurate billing and project reconciliation. This includes a review of projects and their associated costs and helps the Finance Team to resolve any open issues. In the case of any customer (internal or external) billing questions, the Financial Services Specialist is responsible for timely follow-up and resolution.
The Job:
- Complete billing process and meet billing due dates.
- Prepare and distribute invoices internally and externally.
- Partner with Finance Team to assist in timely reconciliation of all their activations/projects.
- Run system reports and reconcile the reports against final invoices sent to the client to ensure all costs that may be billed are captured.
- Reconcile Pittsburgh Event Services credit card expense weekly.
- Review and process Detroit Team Expense Reports.
- Make appropriate changes to existing jobs to maintain accurate billing information.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
The Person:
- In depth experience with Microsoft Excel and Office products.
- Knowledge of CRM and Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of accounting process and procedures required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of related experience.
- Excellent team communication skills.
- Team player capable of working with virtual teams across multiple locations.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Critical thinker and eager to ask questions and learn why certain processes exist and how to navigate Czarnowski-specific systems.
