Optimae LifeServices in De Soto, is hiring part-time or full-time, Entry Level Mental Health Professionals or DSPs (Direct Support Professionals) for weekends only. Applicants should be caring, creative, and passionate about working with youth (16-20) experiencing Mental Illness, Intellectual, and/or Developmental Disabilities. Qualifications:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licensed driver with a reliable vehicle and automobile insurance.
- Able to pass a required background check which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse, criminal record, and driving record checks.
Duties:
- Supporting our customer's social and learning environment.
- Assisting with activities of daily living.
- Supporting our customers to achieve their personal goals.
- We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, patience, and problem solving skills.
- No experience necessary.
