We are seeking a Technical/Clinical Assistant for our office in Dayton, Ohio. This full-time position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, some hand skills, good communications skills and attention to detail. The primary responsibilities will include:
- Assist Certified Prosthetists during Evaluation, Casting, Fitting and Delivery Appointments
- Complete outcome measurements
- Maintain organized patient rooms and prepare rooms for casting and then cleanup
- Assist Prosthetists with assembly of prosthetic devices for fittings
- Perform minor adjustments and repairs under clinical guidance
- Complete socket modifications and componentry changes under clinical guidance
- Ensure all supplies and paperwork are ready prior to final fitting and delivery
- Review Warranty Information and Patient Education Packet with patient
- Ensure unused items are returned following company protocol
- Assist with quality assurance to ensure patient satisfaction and completion of the Patient Satisfaction Survey
- Coordinate with admin staff to schedule patients once supplies, loaners and warranty replacements are received
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
