• Job Position: Supply Chain Coordinator/Specialist(Hybrid)
• Job Location: Toledo Ohio 43659
• Pay rate: 26.50$/Hr
• Shift Timing: 7:30am-4:30pm, 8am-5pm, 8:30am-5:30pm 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the possibility of other days as needed.
Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for analyzing procurement requirements and ensuring the timely acquisition of raw materials and finished goods to meet demand. The role will involve working closely with suppliers, vendors, carriers, and plant personnel to ensure a smooth, efficient operation without interruptions. This individual will use analytics to drive improvements in supplier lead times, order quantities, and inventory management, ultimately contributing to working capital savings, cost reductions, and optimized scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze procurement needs and ensure timely procurement of raw materials.
• Ensure suppliers are paid on time and manage the planning and scheduling of finished goods products to meet demand.
• Use data analytics to provide insights aimed at improving supplier lead times, order quantities, and inventory management.
• Work towards achieving working capital savings, cost reductions, and optimal scheduling for production.
• Collaborate across functional areas, including vendors, carriers, and plant personnel, to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external clients, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience in purchasing raw materials and finished goods in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
o Strong communication skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
o Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
o Knowledge of PowerBI tools is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional Requirements:
o Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
o Ability to coordinate activities across different functional areas and with various external partners (vendors, carriers).
