Position Overview
We are seeking a Bilingual detail-oriented and organized individual to fill our Accounting Specialist role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing finance support to the team. This individual will be a team player, self-motivated, and a desire to learn new things.
You will have the opportunity to engage with key decision makers and support them in bringing their company’s new products to new markets around the world.
As part of the Finance Team, you will work with engineers and lawyers to provide the best customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Account Reconciliation
- Creating quotes
- Invoicing, A/R, A/P
- Financial interfacing with our offices in LATAM countries
- Project financial profitability analysis
- Creating financial reports and Financial Data Analysis
- Communicating with our Latin America partners
- Interfacing with customers on billing, monthly account statements, etc.
- Any additional office tasks as needed including ordering supplies, booking travel, ordering meals for company events, arranging shipping of products (5% of role).
- Other tasks as necessary
This position also has an analytical element in terms of data analysis to help determine optimal pricing, hours expended on projects for budgeting purposes, and overhead calculations. This provides a real growth opportunity both in terms of responsibility and applying advanced accounting principles to streamline the business and enhance efficiency, improve margins, etc.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required
- Ability to navigate ambiguous situations, especially when interacting with customers
- Need to be highly organized and have good time-management skills.
- 2 years of QuickBooks (Online) experience
- Office 365
- Dropbox
- Salesforce
- iMac/Apple Applications is highly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
