We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to support our warehouse operations by overseeing and organizing customer service processes. This role ensures that procedures are followed, customer requirements are met, and administrative activities related to customer orders are efficiently managed. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, logistics experience, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to improve operations from a customer service perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service Operations: Manage and oversee administrative activities related to customer orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer requirements.
Process Compliance: Ensure that all customer service procedures are followed and maintained to support warehouse operations effectively.
Training & Development: Participate in the selection of customer service associates, provide training programs for associates, and evaluate to ensure they receive proper training.
Customer Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with warehouse operations and department managers to identify and address critical issues affecting operations.
Continuous Improvement: Provide recommendations to management to enhance operational efficiency and customer service procedures.
Contract & Rate Management: Ensure that contract rates align with the rates in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and address any discrepancies.
Technology & Reporting: Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and the Warehouse Management System to track and report on customer service metrics.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics customer service environment.
At least 2 years of management experience in a customer service role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in training and developing customer service teams is a plus.
