Administrative Assistant / Receptionist
We are a busy construction firm looking to hire a motivated, responsible and dedicated Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This team member will perform both Administrative tasks and Receptionist tasks. The right candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be courteous and responsible and have excellent computer skills and abilities.
Responsibilities:
This position is a combined Administrative Assistant and Receptionist. The employee will perform tasks typically associated with both positions. The location within the office will be at the front of the office and is the first point of contact.
Listed is a sampling of the responsibilities for the position:
*Greet and assist clients and visitors who come into the office
*Answer a multi-line telephone in a professional manner, handle the call by providing information, taking messages, transferring call, routing call to appropriate party
· Assist with a variety of administrative tasks. A number of tasks will be assigned and routine while others will be under the direction of staff. Examples are typing correspondence, maintaining spreadsheets, creating spreadsheets, print and/or make copies of blueprints.
Utilizing the following office equipment:
- Combination copy/scanner
- Blueprint printer
- Fax machine
- Desktop computer
- Postage machine
- Multi-line phone system
Tasks such as:
- Filing
- Creating and/or maintaining Excel Spreadsheets
- Create Word documents
- Updating and/or generating reports
- Maintaining and ordering office supplies
- Prepare meeting and training rooms
- Assist colleagues with administrative tasks
- Type proposals, letters, contracts, memos as directed
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with Administrative and Clerical Duties
- Excellent Computer Skills, especially typing
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be punctual and reliable.
We offer a competitive pay and benefits package. Salary range for this position is $38,000 - $40,000, dependent on abilities.
This is a salary position with the primary working hours being 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple calendars effectively
- Experience with basic office tasks such as data entry and filing
