Veterinary Client Service Representative

Payson Family Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative to join our Reception team! Our CSRs serve a vital role as the first and last point of contact with a client and their pet. As the face of the hospital, they greet visitors with warmth and compassion, fostering trust in the veterinary team, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.

In this role, you will schedule and manage the flow of appointments, provide empathetic customer service while multi-tasking between a multi-line phone system and in-person clients, process financial transactions, answer inquiries, and provide essential information about the services we provide. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in fast-paced customer service, who are friendly and outgoing, detail-oriented, excellent at multi-tasking, and committed to contributing to a team-focused environment.

This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Sunday.

Required qualifications and skillset:

• 1-3 of client service experience
• Previous veterinary experience is highly desired
• Proficiency in the following skills:
• Client service and communication
• Welcoming and discharging patients
• Collaboration with other team members
• Managing phone lines
• Booking appointments
• Setting up new clients and patients
• Over-the-counter sales
• Financial transactions
• General front desk duties (email, faxing, filing, etc.)
• Ensuring that the reception area of the hospital is always clean and presentable
• Attention to detail and awareness of surroundings, noticing areas of need within the practice

Payson Family Pet Hospital is an AAHA-accredited, companion animal hospital serving Payson, Provo, and the greater Salt Lake City communities. Our 8-doctor practice upholds high standards of medical care and prioritizes excellent client communication/education.
