The Big Task
The Fleet Manager is responsible for all Peaden Fleet operations that includes oversight of all Fleet personnel and programs at multiple locations.
The Fleet manager serves as the primary contact concerning the Peaden Fleet.
Fleet managers duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and deploy Fleet personnel at multiple locations.
- Develop and enforce procedures, policies, and safety protocols.
- Drafts and presents reports on department operations and expenses.
- Coordinating with other company managers to schedule Fleet Maintenance.
- Schedule maintenance with vendors.
- Inspecting company vehicles.
- Inventory company vehicles.
- Clean fleet vehicles inside and out.
- Transport vehicles between branches and to and from vendor locations.
- Coordinate with service managers and dispatch on scheduled service.
- Install and maintain GPS devices in fleet vehicles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office including excel is required.
- Coordinate and deliver inventory to jobsites as required.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of fleet management and operations.
- Must have Fleet management experience managing multiple locations.
- Excellent managerial and supervisory skills.
- Good communication, organizational, time management skills a must.
- Dependable and Reliable.
- Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills are required.
- Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Highly motivated, self-starter who's flexible and has a great attitude.
- Must have valid/current driver's license.
- Able to pass drug test and background check.
