What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher (Non-driving) position at Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority?
The Dispatcher monitors and/or responds to a variety of phone calls in a courteous manner and informs management of problems and complaints and assists in resolving them. Monitors overall service integrity and schedule adherence and takes prompt appropriate actions to address circumstances that interrupt on-time performance. Administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be a multi-tasker, professional, and able to provide excellent customer service to PDRTA passengers and customers. Experience in call center or related field preferred.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three years related experience and/or training
Corresponding years of experience may be considered as a substitute for the level of education desired.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must receive a negative result from a DOT pre-employment drug screen, pass a criminal background and reference check.
Must successfully complete post-interview assessment.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office.
Starting Salary will be commensurate with years of experience and/or advanced educational degree.
