The Supply Chain Associate Supervisor will coordinate the activities that bring equipment to market as well as improve our go to market strategy.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Equipment Supervisor (MES) contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by leading daily HUB Operations Technicians in marketing equipment preparations / maintenance and logistical operations to support a designated territory. Supervisor must lead, coach and support their team to achieve both productivity Key performance indicators and customer service objectives while effectively managing the location P&L.
- Working knowledge of beverage marketing equipment
- Facilitate training as needed to build capability within cross functional departments and the market.
- Leverage existing processes, and create new ones, to install, service and monitor equipment. Examples, but not limited to:
- Proper transportation of component systems to/from customer site
- Installation / removal of all component systems
- Communication setup / activity verification
- Systems check and calibration procedures
- Troubleshooting and component replacement
- Provide on-site training relating to general operation of PES Marketing Equipment
- Provide hands on assistance for all aspects of daily HUB operation.
- Understand and execute all safety / environmental procedures related to the equipment platform.
- Enable design improvement by analyzing data and providing feedback to management team
- Collaborate with cross functional members of the Supply Chain group to improve our Go to Market Strategy.
- Leverage frontline workforce to optimize Key Performance Indicators to drive customer service in trade.
- Maintain excellent working relationship with customer.
- Effectively manage P&L location/area financial plans
- Daily management of equipment approvals
- Weekly procurement of equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years of operations experience required
- 1 year of experience in inventory control required
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Strong Supervisory experience (Required) union environment preferred
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills (Required)
- Professional accomplishments that reflect self-motivation and initiative
- Proficient within all aspects Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Customer drive and focus; prior customer service or related experience
- Superior problem solving and organizational skills
- Ability to demonstrate mechanical, electrical and refrigeration aptitude
- Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset
- Lean Six Sigma (Preferred)
- Ability to analyze data
- Ability to travel on a frequent basis (up to 10% travel); some weekends
- Experience in a related industry, including consumer packaged goods, or vending, is a strong asset
