NYC Health Hospitals/Jacobi, located in the Bronx, accommodates more than 325,000 outpatient visits, more than 100,000 emergency room visits and more than 20,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital is renowned for The Trauma Center, staffed to treat any traumatic injury or illness, the fully accredited Breast Health Center, and The Burn Center, with more than 40 years of work in burn care. The hospital also serves patients of many other needs. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Albert Einstein Medical College of Yeshiva University.
We are currently recruiting for a full time Endocrinologist to join our Department of Medicine team. This role will also rotate to North Central Bronx Hospital 25% of the time.
Responsibilities:
This position will include a combination of mostly outpatient Endocrinology as well as some inpatient consults. This role will also be involved in supervision and teaching of internal medicine residents, fellows, and medical students. Administrative and clinical research opportunities exist, in accordance with the person’s interest.
Qualifications:
Qualifications include:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Endocrinology
- Current NYS license (or the ability to obtain one)
