What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Charge Bookkeeper position at Physicians' Primary Care of Southwest Florida?
Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our Administration Team in Fort Myers.
Our Ful Charge Bookkeepers:
- Provide excellent customer service (friendly, courteous and helpful) to both our internal and external customers
- Process payroll through automated software.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality.
- Maintains required records, reports, files.
- Processes the payment of refunds for patient's accounts.
- Processes 1099s at year end to appropriate vendors and independent contractors.
- Assists in preparation of various cost reports.
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in computer programs, i.e. Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Sage Accounting. Experience in Paycor payroll applications preferred.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Information collection and management skills.
- Problem identification and resolution skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic office equipment skills.
Education:
- Minimum- High School Diploma
Experience:
- Two years of full charge bookkeeping and payroll processing
