What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable position at Piedmont Composites & Tooling?
This person will work in our administrative office. Their primary responsibility will be entering bills into QuickBooks, generating purchase orders, and accounting for received purchases. Secondary responsibilities will include Sales, Shipping, and Order Entry.
This is 32 hrs. per week, hourly position with hours M-Th 8:00am-4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch. Depending upon sales volume and additional responsibilities, there might be room for this to grow to a 40-hour position.
This position will start with an hourly wage of $20/hr.

Education and/or Experience
- Two-year college education or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook, Intuit QuickBooks, or equivalent
- Prior Manufacturing experience is a plus
Language Skills
- Ability to read and write English legibly, communicate effectively, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, business correspondence and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the general public.
- Must have good phone presence
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Proficient with calculator and computer
- Prior accounting experience is a requirement
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Work freely in an office environment. Regularly required to talk and listen. Requires walking outdoors between the office building and plant as well as to all parts within the plant. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision (must be able to enter data on computer). Will be responsible for telephone activity.
